WASHINGTON, Dec. 12, 2024 – Teaching Strategies, a leading provider of early childhood education solutions, has been named to the GSV 150 for the fifth year in a row. The GSV 150 is an annual list of the top 150 private companies that are driving innovation in digital learning and workforce development.
Out of over 2,500 private education technology companies, Teaching Strategies is one of just six early childhood education companies selected for the recognition.
“We’re proud to once again be included in this prestigious list,” said John Olsen, CEO of Teaching Strategies. “This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to developing digital solutions that support early childhood educators, young learners, and their families. 2024 has been a year of significant progress for us, with innovations in our curriculum, improvements to our assessments, and expanded professional development opportunities for educators. We look forward to continuing this momentum in 2025.”
GSV Ventures Partner Luben Pampoulov noted the impact of generative AI on education. “AI is transforming how we learn by personalizing education, enhancing productivity, and enabling rapid progress. Many of the companies on the 2025 GSV 150, including Teaching Strategies, have deeply integrated AI into their offerings,” he said.
The GSV 150 list is compiled based on companies’ revenue scale, growth, user reach, geographic diversification, and profit margins. The companies selected collectively reach nearly 3 billion learners and generate $25 billion in annual revenue.
Of the 2025 GSV 150, 48% are K-12 companies, 46% focus on workforce learning, 31% on higher education, and 12% on adult consumer learning. Early childhood education companies make up 4%, while 25% span multiple sectors.
The full GSV 150 list can be viewed on the official GSV website. Many of the recognized companies will attend the ASU+GSV Summit, which will be held in San Diego from April 6-9, 2025.
