Palm Bay Primary Donates to Millmead Children’s Centre via Harvest Festival

Palm Bay Primary School has once again highlighted the strength of community spirit through its annual Harvest Festival donations.

This year, students, parents, and staff collaborated to gather a remarkable collection of goods for Millmead Children’s Centre’s food bank, which provides vital support to local families in need.

The donation baskets were filled with non-perishable items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and toiletries. Mrs. Page, Mrs. Bigginton, and several Year 6 students personally delivered the donations to Millmead Children’s Centre. The charity expressed its gratitude, stating, “Thank you for the generous donation from the children at Palm Bay. This will greatly benefit families and children in our community.”

During classroom discussions and assemblies, students learned about the significance of the Harvest Festival and the importance of helping others. They talked about how small acts of kindness, such as donating food and toiletries, can significantly impact those facing tough times.

Headteacher Gemma Silk commented, “I am truly moved by the kindness and commitment our school has shown. It reflects the values we cherish at Palm Bay.”

As the Harvest Festival wraps up, the school is already eager to explore future opportunities for community engagement through acts of kindness and generosity. Palm Bay Primary aims to continue its tradition of giving and inspire others to join in their efforts.
