A kindergarten teacher in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, recently had young children exposed to the sun outdoors during lunchtime while staying in a shaded area herself. The Education Bureau of Xinghualing District in Taiyuan stated that they are currently verifying the incident.
According to an internet user, last Wednesday (19th), she found several young children from Xingmei Kindergarten’s branch exposed to the sun outdoors and scolded the teacher, who eventually guided the children back indoors. Data shows that the highest temperature in Xinghualing District that day reached 33°C.
A staff member from Xingmei Kindergarten’s branch in Xinghualing District mentioned they are aware of the situation and will handle it after understanding the actual circumstances. Staff from the Education Bureau of Xinghualing District in Taiyuan stated that exposing young children to the sun at noon is definitely inappropriate and not allowed.
