Lightbridge Academy, a new childcare center in Plano, will officially open its doors with a grand celebration on December 7. The academy, which opened in September, is owned and operated by family members Chetana and Devan Shah. It offers a variety of services, including infant care, toddler programs, preschool education, and pre-K readiness.
The grand opening event promises fun for the whole family, with a free petting zoo, a DJ, music, refreshments, and interactive learning activities, according to a social media post from the company. Plano Mayor John Muns will be on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“This event is a fantastic opportunity for families to explore our offerings and see firsthand the high-quality care and education we provide for working families,” a company representative said in an email.
The grand opening will take place at Lightbridge Academy’s location at 6900 Preston Meadow Drive in Plano.
