The Park City School District is hosting two open houses to introduce its preschool programs to parents in preparation for the 2025-2026 school year registration. The events are set for Wednesday and Thursday, offering parents a chance to tour the preschool facilities, meet staff, and learn about available programs and enrollment options.
Each of Park City’s four elementary schools provides both full-day and half-day preschool programs for 3- and 4-year-olds. The full-day programs run Monday through Thursday from 8:10 a.m. to 3:05 p.m., with a shorter session on Friday from 8:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuition is $810 per month, with reduced rates available for qualifying families, as low as $125 per month. The half-day programs are available Monday through Friday from 8:10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., with tuition set at $400 per month or as low as $100 per month for qualifying families. An after-school program is also available until 6 p.m.
The open houses are scheduled as follows: Wednesday at McPolin Elementary, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for English speakers and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Spanish speakers. Thursday’s event will be held at Jeremy Ranch Elementary, with the same English and Spanish session times.
In August, the district opened new preschool facilities at Jeremy Ranch and McPolin. Renovations and expansions at Parley’s Park and Trailside elementary schools are expected to be completed by spring, adding space for 288 students across 18 full-day classrooms.
Preschool registration will be open from January 6 at 8 a.m. to February 7.
