The European Union has launched the ‘Resilient Syunik Team Europe’ initiative to support the sustainable socio-economic development of Armenia’s Syunik region. As part of this initiative, five new preschool education centers have been established, allowing local children to access early education without the need for long travels.
These centers are part of the ‘Future is Today’ program, which began in 2020. Over three years, with EU funding, the program aims to create alternative early childhood development services in small rural communities that lack preschools.
The Resilient Syunik Team Europe initiative is a collaborative effort involving the European Union, the European Investment Bank, several EU member states, and Switzerland.
