EU4Recovery Backs Ukraine Violence Prevention Game for Schools

by Beatrice

The European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine have introduced the ‘KROK — an Educational Game on Violence Prevention 2.0’ initiative. This project aims to bolster violence prevention education among schoolchildren through an interactive educational game.

The “KROK” game has already reached over 6,000 students and 900 educators. It is designed to help students identify signs of violence and learn appropriate responses. The game includes 30 scenarios for students to navigate with guidance from school psychologists, followed by debriefing sessions to discuss their experiences.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has endorsed the game, officially approving it for use in educational settings.

The project, implemented by Et cetera with support from UNDP and EU funding under the ‘EU4Recovery – Empowering Communities in Ukraine’ program, aims to strengthen community resilience and support education in Ukraine.
