AIICO Insurance recently joined the global celebration of Children’s Day by focusing on honoring and rewarding schoolchildren in Lagos. The insurance firm collaborated with the Lagos Food Bank, a non-governmental organization, to distribute school supplies and refreshments to hundreds of pupils in four low-cost nursery and primary schools.
These schools include Best Legacy Nursery and Primary School, Victory Nursery and Primary School, Learners Guide Nursery and Primary School, and Debbie Frank Nursery and Primary School, all located in Agege and Ikeja areas of Lagos.
According to Mrs. Abimbola Shobanjo, the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Manager at AIICO Insurance, the company places great importance on the well-being and happiness of children, recognizing them as the future leaders of society. She expressed AIICO’s commitment to positively impacting children’s lives, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel in their education and future endeavors.
Shobanjo also extended gratitude to the Lagos Food Bank for their collaboration in making this initiative a success, emphasizing the meaningful difference they are collectively making in the lives of young students, thereby contributing to a brighter and more promising future for all.
